Legacy is centered on one of the most reproduced images in popular culture: the coverphotograph of Abbey Road (1969) by The Beatles. The original image was taken with a Hasselblad 500C camera-the same model used in 1969 to document Neil Armstrong and the Apollo 11 moon landing. More than half a century later, the site remains a destination forvisitors from around the world.

The location today exists as a cultural monument and an ordinary pedestrian crossing on a busy street in northwest London. The crossing holds heritage status in England and functions as a site of popular-cultural pilgrimage.The material in Legacy is sourced entirely from the site's own public webcam, which streams continuously, twenty-four hours a day. Recorded over a period of six months, the footage has been edited according to time intervals, beginning at 7:21 a.m. and ending at 3:00 a.m.

Concerned with the transformation of time, and furthermore time-based practices, into image. In this case- the image is endlessly reproduced, circulated, and archived by successive generations of visitors. The original moment has long passed; The Beatles no longer exist as a group, yet the image persists.

The work remains without a soundtrack.
